Razor of the Week

Razor of the Week - James Johnson (10th)

Congratulations to sophomore, James Johnson, for being this week's Razor of the Week. James was nominated by his HCTC marketing instructor, Mrs. Abby Crooks. Mrs. Crooks said, "Loving this guy in my class! Thanks for sending him over. He's a thinker and is really making positive contributions to my class."

Congratulations, James! See Mrs. Crawford sometime this week for a small token of celebration.

Car Rider Reminders

Watch the video below for information on dropping off and picking up students. PLEASE DO NOT drop students off or pick them up in the main parking lot or in the student parking lot. Remember to pull ALL THE WAY up to the purple line or the car in front of you. Do your part to help our dismissal run efficiently.

Attendance Matters!

Attendance laws and seat time requirements are set by the state South Carolina and the School District of Oconee County.

Only 5 absences OF ANY KIND are allowed in a semester course. Even excused absences are considered time out of class and that time must be made up accordingly. At WHS, we offer morning make-up and afternoon sessions, not as a punishment, but as an OPPORTUNITY to earn back the seat time missed and to ensure you will be awarded credit for your classes.

Any senior who hasn't had their senior pictures taken will take their yearbook photo on Thursday, 8/27. For full senior portrait sessions, contact David Sparks (864-638-7667).
