Revised Graduation Ceremony Arrangements

Walhalla High School Gymnasium
Due to the latest weather forecasts and growing confidence of rain throughout the day, the School District of Oconee County has made the decision to move graduation ceremonies indoors at 8:30am on Saturday. The Walhalla High School Graduation Ceremony will be held in the main gymnasium. All guests will park in the student parking lot and enter through the Commons doors.
Ticket Information
WHS graduates will be issued 5 tickets each. Graduates will receive tickets at graduation practice tomorrow morning. Tickets are required to enter the gymnasium. Guests will not be admitted into the gym without a ticket. Children under the age of 3 will not require a ticket but must sit in an adult’s lap during the ceremony. All tickets are general admission; there will be no reserved seating. Limited handicap accessible seating will be available.
The graduation ceremony will be live streamed. Guests wanting to watch the live stream can view it here. Limited first-come, first-seated overflow seating will be available in the auditorium for those who come to campus without a ticket.
Important Reminders:
Doors will open at 7:45am.
For safety and order, guests will not be allowed to enter the area where graduates report.
School photographers will be taking pictures during graduation. These pictures will be available to graduates and families at no cost.
No bags or noisemakers will be allowed into the gym.
