The Riley Institute at Furman University sponsors the summer program, Emerging Public Leaders. This is an exciting service-oriented leadership program open to rising high school seniors. This week-long summer program offers a series of experiences that enable students to develop into civic-minded and engaged leaders in their communities. During the week, participants attend workshops at Furman that prepare them to plan and implement a service project addressing a specific need within their own communities. The program is free of charge to the students who are selected. The application deadline is Friday, April 5, 2019. Interested students need to see Mrs. Cote in the guidance office.
