Litter Free Football Game 2018

Litter-Free Football Game 2018
Student Government and Anchor Club teamed up to have a litter-free football game. Students volunteered their time to walk the stadium and offer to collect people's trash and recyclables. Our freshman environmental science class made posters out of recycled material to remind fans to find the proper bin for their trash. Student government even invited middle school students to participate and learn how to continue this litter-free game tradition. Cheerleaders gave out shirts with recycling logo to inspire fans. Students collected 7 bags of trash and 9 bags of recycled bottles! Clean up of the stadium at the end of the game took 1/4 of the time as it normally does.
