Computers, cooking utensils, CAD software, compost. What, you may wonder, do these seemingly unrelated things have in common? They are all examples of the topics taught in the Career and Technical Education (CATE) department! Business Applications, Family and Consumer Science, Industrial Technology, and Agriculture Education are just a few of our courses. Our goal is to teach students the skills used in technical fields. Our faculty is made up of five teachers with almost 75 years of teaching experience and with an average of 12 years of teaching experience. Our department strives to provide our students with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners.
